One of my teachers from Vancouver is coming to Hemma Yoga in a couple weeks for a 2-hour workshop. Christine Price Clark is one of the most senior Anusara-Inspired teachers in Vancouver. Her classes are absolutely amazing, and this event should not be missed!
What: An Anusara Inspired™ Workshop with Christine Price Clark
When: Sunday May 29th 2-4pm
Where: Hemma Yoga

In this full-spectrum, moving practice, we will practice the art of self-embrace, and how that very practice is integral to our growth both on and off the mat. With a focus on opening the four corners of the body (hips and shoulders), expect to explore an array of poses, including Bhujangasana (cobra pose), to Adho Mukha Vrksasana (handstand) variatio...ns of Urdhva Dhanurasana (upward-facing bow pose) and Natarajasana (dancer’s pose). Inspired by Anusara’s philosophy of intrinsic goodness and with skilful application of the Universal Principles of Alignment™, we will celebrate the gift of embodiment, elevating and welcoming ourselves and each other wholeheartedly.
Christine is known as an honest, passionate, accessible teacher and mentor who shares artful language, creative sequencing and the sacred, relevant, and resonant teachings found in the ancient and the everyday. She credits Anusara® Yoga as an immeasurably powerful practice that continues to reveal itself as one of both wild, radical openings and sustainable, trustworthy teachings. Christine’s aim is to share this liberally and in the most real, grounded and seriously playful way. Currently living in Vancouver, and in the process of Anusara certification, she teaches to a growing community of warm, vibrant and committed students, many of whom are teachers themselves. Christine was on the faculty of the 2011 Whistler Yoga Conference and was named in Vancouver Magazine’s Best Of Vancouver 2010. She is also the insanely proud mother of Olive, age 2.
